Support connected to everyday life

NDIS-funded allied-health support should relate to the functional impact of your disability and the goals that matter in your life. We use assessment, individual recommendations and regular reviews to connect exercise or occupational therapy with meaningful outcomes.

Build or maintain strength, balance, coordination, cardiovascular capacity and confidence with movement.

Develop the physical or functional capacity needed for tasks at home, work, school and in the community.

Work towards goals involving walking, wheelchair mobility, transfers, falls prevention and moving through different environments.

Build the capacity and confidence required to participate in recreation, social activities and the wider community.

Develop practical skills, strategies and physical capacity that may support greater choice and independence.

Establish realistic strategies for continuing movement, physical activity and meaningful routines over time.

Where support can happen

The most appropriate location depends on your goals, clinical needs, access requirements and available funding.

Some participants benefit from our private and supportive Manly West clinic, while others may require services at home, in the community or at a suitable local pool. We will discuss the available options with you before services begin.

A person-centred approach

Working Together to Support You

Your choices guide your support

We recognise that every participant brings different abilities, goals, identities, communication styles and experiences.

We take time to understand what is important to you and how you would like your services to be delivered. You can ask questions, request changes, involve a trusted person and provide feedback at any time.

Our approach includes:

• Clear explanations and informed consent
• Choice in how information is communicated
• Adaptations for mobility, fatigue, pain and sensory needs
• Mobility aids and assistive equipment welcomed
• Support people welcomed with your consent
• Neurodiversity-affirming care
• Collaboration with your wider team when authorised
• No judgement about body size, appearance or exercise history
